Our Story
Toro Travel was born from years of working on the front lines of Japan's travel industry.
As a private guide, I have had the privilege of accompanying travelers from diverse countries and backgrounds. Through these experiences, I realized that while many visitors followed the same popular itineraries, what they truly remembered were the authentic moments—the local culture, hidden places, meaningful conversations, and experiences that reflected their own interests.
Personally, I have always enjoyed exploring beyond the guidebooks, seeking out quiet neighborhoods, family-run restaurants, scenic backstreets, and hidden gems where the true spirit of Japan can still be felt. I wanted my guests to experience that side of Japan as well.
